DIAMONDS Update 13th July 2023

Participant Update - We now have ninety-eight participants recruited to our DIAMONDS randomised controlled trial! This is 22% of our target, thank you to all of our recruiting sites for your excellent work!



This week DIAMONDS Programme Manager, Jen Brown presented at the NIHR CRN Yorkshire and Humber Regional Meeting for Diabetes


The day was full of interesting and captivating talks and presentations surrounding diabetic research in the Yorkshire and Humber region. Jen discussed the DIAMONDS programme and highlighted how people with severe mental illness can be disproportionately impacted by type 2 diabetes, and the work we are doing to try and reduce this health inequality.
